The owner and maintainers of this site and Internet connection are not responsible for the content of any discussion herein and do not guarantee the usability or reliability of the programs. Participants "participate" by their own choosing and do so at their own risk. If you are under 18 years of age you must let your parents or guardians know that you plan to visit and/or participate in these chat rooms as well as ask them to read and accept these terms. They should also visit a chat room to get a feel for what is typically discussed. While we take actions to keep all activity here suitable for those under 18, these chat rooms are not constantly monitored. We cannot guarantee all actions will fall under our guidelines and terms. We strongly encourage children to participate in the activities on this site with their parents, teachers friends and family as it adds to the educational experience. If you encounter anything unsuitable for children or any abusive activity we strongly encourage you quickly record all the user and time information available, leave the chat room, and email the facts to chat@xena.com. The Administrator Staff on this site occasionally monitors the chat rooms to ensure that users are following the rules and guidelines. They have the ability to "kick" or "ban" (disallow access) to users who are being disruptive or are not following the rules and guidelines. All decisions by the Staff are final. If you feel you were treated unfairly by an Administrator, you may lodge a complaint to chat@xena.com. 2. ABSOLUTELY NO profanity, rude, lewd or offensive "behavior" or discussions of a sexual and/or deviant nature will be allowed. There is a language check program in this chat site, however, making posts in a manner which circumvents this program will still be considered using profanity. 3. NO advertising or commercial information unless directly related to conversations about such topics. 4. Please keep your discussions and content to subjects of interest to all participants. If you require or want to have a personal or private chat you will need to locate other Internet chat alternatives intended for one on one connections. 5. Discussions and/or comments that graphically describe sexual and/or violent acts, that would be considered unsuitable for children under 18 are not permitted. 6. Viewpoints from all political, ethnic, religious, gender, racial, national perspectives and age are welcome. Remember, your opinions are just as important as everyone else's, and vice-versa. Disagreement and debate is allowed but this is not the place to flame, trash, diss or otherwise attack people inside or outside of the chat rooms. Discussions and/or comments as to a persons sexual preferences should be kept tasteful. 7. It is expected of all users to be courteous to other chatters. Insults and/or rude comments directed at another user in a malicious manner will not be permitted. Also, it is expected that all users follow the rules of good "netiquette": 8. Be careful about using sarcasm and humor. Without face-to-face communication, your joke may be misinterpreted. 9. Typing in all capital letters is synonymous with shouting, therefore considered rude and/or offensive, and thereby against the guidelines. 10. Flooding is NOT ALLOWED! Flooding is considered to be repetitive posts that floods the chat room. This also includes flooding any chat room regardless of the hour or amount of chatters. Anyone caught flooding will have their name banned for an indefinite period of time until they can earn their name back. 1. When replying to a post, it is helpful to address the person by user name in the response. 2. We encourage the use of good grammar and spelling in all posts. |
