| I am having trouble with my password, how do I get it re-sent to me?
|
You may have entered it incorrectly or not used the correct set of upper
and lower case letters that was sent in the email to you. If it still
continues to be a problem, please re-register under a different name and try
again. Usernames and passwords are encrypted, so we cannot decipher or
re-send them to you.
|
| I registered a name and never received an email with the name and password?
|
Chances are that you entered your email address incorrectly, so you will
need to try again. We cannot re-send any user and password information. Once
it is gone from our system, we cannot re-send it to you.
|
| I registered a username a long time ago and now it doesn't work?
|
The chat room programmers often come in and clean out records that have not
been accessed in several months. So if you are not using the name, it will
be recycled. If it is still free for re-use, you can re-register it, but
we need to keep down the amount of disk space by clearing out unused usernames.
|
| I registered a name and it said that it was already taken, what do I do?
|
If it gives you this information, you will need to select a new username
and try to re-register.
|
| Someone was insulting me or being rude to everyone, what can I do?
|
We have an Administrator staff that is attempting to cover most of the
main chat times during high usage. The Administrator staff has the ability
to kick users out of the chat area for a period of 15 minutes to give them
time to cool off. After this, they may log back in and behave themselves.
The Web Development Team supports the Administrators' decision when it comes
to their actions. Please treat them with respect.
|
| I was improperly kicked off the chat page by an Adminstrator person?
|
As with the previous message, the Web Development Team fully supports the
Adminstrator staff and their ability to be fair when keeping peace and order
to the chat rooms. Please respect their authority. If you still have a
problem with the rules, you may look for alternative chat rooms to suit
your needs.
|
| How do I become a Privileged user?
|
In order to become a Privileged user, you need to have an extremely clean
chatting record (0-2 bad language warnings, no kicks by the Administrators,
and not too many gibberish warnings) and have been chatting for several
months without incident with the Administrator staff. We typically
do promotions every 2 months or so.
|
| How do I become an Administrator?
|
In order to become an Administrator, you need to have a relatively clean
chatting record and already have Privileged user status. Also, you need to
be held in high esteem with fellow Villagers and Administrator. When the
current Administrator staff feels that additional help is needed with the
chat rooms, the staff will vote and decide.
