The Wishing Stone

Gabrielle, Xena, and the messenger ran into the castle and straight into the throne room where they saw the King, Queen, and Princess locked up. Xena untied the Queen and King, and Gabrielle the Princess. The messenger nodded his head and went back to his duties.
Princess: Thank you, Thank you!
King: Yes, thank you.
Xena: You can thank us later, but now tell us who did this.
Queen: His name is Thesis.
Gab: Thesis...I've heard of him. He's known as the Prince of Water.
Xena: Prince of Water?
Gab: He's immortal. He has a human body but his normal figure is pure water that has never, ever, been touched. Anyone who touches him in water form will collect his powers and he'll die. He needs to be in his water form for 12 hours of the day in a tank which he has in his castle.
King: And he wants our castle, too!
Princess: Daddy, I told you. He doesn't want our castle...he wants our Wishing Stone!
King: But the Wishing Stone is attached to the castle and so he wants that, too.
Xena: All right. Me and Gabrielle will take care of Thesis. But all of you have to take care of that Wishing Stone.
Princess: What's so speacial about it?
Gab:Princess Kahli, I can't believe you don't know. Anyone touching that thing can make a wish of theirs come true. But Zeus cursed it because people were spoiling themselves with it and now every wish one makes on it goes wrong and he planted it in the dungeon of this very castle. My guess is Thesis wants it so he can take the curse off and...well...you know.
Queen: I thought only Zeus could take the curse off of it.
Gab: This guy studies curses and stuff. He probably knows a curse to make the one being used now undo itself!
King: Well, he's had us tied up for the longest time and by now he's probably got the Wishing Stone!
Gab: Then we better get going. Xe---Xena? Xena? Xena!!!
Gabrielle turned around and saw the door being swung back and forth. Xena had just ran out....obviously. Gabrielle smiled (being a little embarrassed) and ran after her. When the two reached the dungeon, the Wishing Stone was right where is should be.
Gab: That thing looks creepy.
Xena (ignoring Gabrielle): Why would Thesis tie King Chantal, Queen Arlysse, and Princess Kahli up without taking the stone?
Gab: Maybe because the stone is planted there and there's no way to get it out of the freaking wall!??!?!!!?
Gabrielle walked up to the stone and pulled on it. It wasn't moving at all.
Gab: See?
Xena walked up and pulled the stone. The minute she pulled, it came loose.
Xena: Yep. I see perfectly well.
Gab: Well, I loosened it for you.
Xena: Right, Gabrielle. Now...why didn't Thesis take the stone?
Gab (to herself/Xena): Because he's not as strong as you..
Xena: Good point. C'mon, we're taking this thing and going to go meet Thesis.
Gab: Well, where do we find him?
Xena: I didn't even know the guy existed. Your the one who knows everything about him.
Gab: Well I don't know where he lives.
Xena: Then we're going on another adventure, aren't we?
Gab: Yipee.
Xena and Gabrielle left the castle with the Wishing Stone in a brown, burlap sack. A few hours later they were on the road and decided to stop and set up camp. Soon, Xena was sitting on a log holding a scroll Gabrielle had asked her to read. It was another adventure that she had gotten herself into when Xena was in Athens and Gabby was in Peidmon. Gabrielle was making dinner. It was pitch black out and if it wasn't for the roaring fire put up, the two wouldn't have been able to see anything.
Gab: Hey, Xena, can you pass me that stick?
Xena threw Gabrielle her staff.
Gab: Funny.
Xena smiled and handed Gabrielle some twigs.
Gab: Thanks. How do you like the scroll so far?
Xena: I can't believe you do this stuff when I'm not around.
Gabrielle laughed. She picked up the burlap sack and held the Wishing Stone.
Gab: I wish....
Xena: Gabrielle, don't!!!
Xena grabbed the Wishing Stone and Gabrielle burst out laughing.
Gab: Do you really think I'm that stupid?
Xena: No, but after reading this scroll it seems to me like you'll do anything.
Gabrielle smiled.
Gab: Did you get to the part where I ate the ring just so Ezekin wouldn't be able to use it on the girl and I ended up throwing it up into the river, anyway?
Xena slowly rose her head and looked at Gabrielle. She put the scroll down still looking at her.
Xena: No.
Gabrielle smiled a sheepishly happy smile.
Xena: You are crazy.
Xena looked at the Wishing Stone. The electric blue haze it gave off of the sky blue stone dazzled. The gold plate it stood on shone in the moonlight. Xena concentrated.
Xena: Ahh, stupid stone. It probably doesn't even work anymore.
Gab: Your probably right. Wanna check?
Xena: What do you mean, wish on it?
Gab: Sure. Why not?
Xena: Because every wish made on it goes bad. You said so yourself.
Gab: But it's gotta be broken by now. Maybe Zeus forgot about the stupid stone, anyway!
Xena: No. We aren't risking it.
Gab: Meany.
Xena: That's me, alright. A big meany.
Gab: I love you.
Xena: What, first I'm a big meany and then you love me? Hah! Let's just see how I reply to that!
Gabrielle smiled.
Xena: I love you, too.
Gab: I'm gonna get some shut-eye, okay? I'm not that hungry.
Xena: Goodnight.
Gab: Night,
Gabrielle pulled the blankets over her and fell asleep. Xena threw the Wishing Stone into the burlap sack. She held onto the handles very tightly and looked up into the sky. Her mind suddenly started to remember long times ago when her and Lyceus would stay up all night and joke around about the Wishing Stone and if it really existed. The sky was blue with tints of purple and her brother looked outside the window.
Lyceus: If it really exists......what would you wish for?
Xena: A new fishing pole.
Ly: Well that's a waste of a wish!
Xena: What would you wish for?
Ly: A big sword.
Xena: Who would want a big, heavy, metal thing that cuts?
Ly: Me!
Xena: Ya know, you've never been the type of person that fights.
Ly: But someday, I'm going to becaome a warrior. And you can be my sidekick.
Xena: Sidekick!!? Yeah, right! I'm gonna have my own sidekick. And we're gonna go around and fight for the greater good.
Ly: Can I be your sidekick?
Xena: Sure! And we're gonna fight all the bad people. And we're going to die fighting evil. We'll be heroes!
Ly: Well, there aren't alota bad people anymore.
Xena: Sure there are. There's..umm..uh..help me out here!
Ly: What about Cortese?
Xena: Ah, Cortese can't do anything. If we're going to die fighting bad people, it won't be him. He's too full of himself to be an evil person. And even if he is, he'll be easy to get around. Right?
Ly: Right.
The next thing Xena knew she was leaning against the log she was sitting on and a blanket covered her. She was sleeping and had awaken. Gabrielle probably put the blanket over her.
Xena: Damn you, Cortese.
Xena began to tear up while thinking about her dream. She thought about how things would have been if Lyceus had lived. Then she thought about why Lyceus had to die and if the fates had really planned it that way or if Cortese changed his destiny. She missed Lyceus that night more than ever.
Xena: I can't.....I can't do this. I can't think about this tonight. We're going to meet Thesis tomorrow and I don't have time for sorrow.
Lyceus filled her brain and mind and body that night and even though she didn't want to, she thought about him all night long.
Xena: Why...why! I miss him so much. I wish Cortese had never attacked Amphipolis. I can't believe how much I want him alive.
Xena felt her hands vibrate. She quickly threw the blankets off her and noticed she was still holding the bag with the Wishing Stone in it.
Xena: But why would it be acting up? I didn't wish anything!
Xena remembered. "I wish Cortese had never attacked Amphipolis." Part of her was thrilled to know that her wish was nothing bad, but the other part knew Zeus had cursed the doomed Stone. Sudenly, the vibration went from her hands to her arms, and then her shoulders, head, chest, stomach, legs, and finally her feet. Then...the vibration stopped. Nothing had change. Everything was normal.
Xena: I knew this thing didn't work!
Xena looked over at Gabrielle and realized she was gone. It took Xena a little less than a minute to realize what had happened. She was back in time. The seventeen-year-old Xena was in Amphipolis and their town was awaiting Cortese. He wouldn't show, Lyceus wouldn't die, Xena would never be blamed for it, she would never become evil...life would be so wonderful! But....she would have never met Lao Ma or Borias and she would have never had Solan. She would have never met Gabrielle. In fact, Gabrielle would have ecome a slave girl or die (Remeber? In "Sins of the Past" Xena met Gabrielle by saving her from the whip of one of Draco's men). But she would have never attacked Cirra and Callisto would have never changed. Xena decided to make things right and worry aboiut Thesis later. She was going to live life the way it should have been. She was going to await the day her normal life changed and she became good. In a couple of years she were to go to Potedaia and save Gabrielle from being whipped and beaten into a slave to Draco's army. Because after all, it was many years before Xena met Gabrielle. Many years after Cortese attacked Amphipolis. She would now go home and live her life the right way. About a half-mile into her journey....
Xena: Wait! If Cortese had never attacked my village, Hercules would be dead! He would have confessed to killing Serina, and Iolaus would run him through, and he'd really be gone because I wouldn't have given him the pouch of medicine that really blocked the stab! But wait, he'd be alive because I would have never met him and turn him to face the direction the last Hind was in. But that means Ares would have killed Serina and he'd have the Hind's Blood Dagger. At least Hope hadn't been born. Wait a sec, I'm basically seventeen again...all this is going to happen in the very far future! I love this stone.
By the end of her thought, Xena was in Amphipolis and the sun was just beginning to arise. Someone ran out of Xena's old home.....a boy.....
Xena: Lyceus!!
Boy: Xena! Your home! How was your tri-----Whoa, baby! Where'd you get the horse, man? And the black leather? And the sword?
Lyceus picked up Xena's chakram.
Lyceus: What's this round thing? Hey! You've gotten an early start on being a warrior, haven't you? I don't know how to be a sidekick yet so you gotta gimme time, okay?
Lyceus pulled Xena off Argo and she just stood there in happiness.
Ly: Wow! Mom's gonna freak out when she sees this armor! Where's you get it? Mom only gave you 25 dinars for yer trip. C'mon, we gotta go inside. Mom's prob'ly making breakfast by now, but if she's still sleeping, can you make that bread like you used to? Please oh please oh pleeeeeease? Zeus, you don't know how much I've missed that stuff. ?Mom doesn't make it like you do. Although she desperately tries, to. An----Xena? You okay?
Xena: Lyceus....I've missed you sooooo much!
Ly: Right. C'mon!!!
Lyceus ran into the house and Xena became very happy. She was acting like a teenager again. In the house....
Cyrene: Xena? You've gotten very tall.........and leathery.
Xena: Mom!!
Xena hugged Cyrene tightly.
Xena: The leather thing....well, it's a new trend.
Xena's mind shrugged.
Ly: What do sidekicks wear?
Xena thought about Gabrielle.
Xena: Green and brown. No leather. A staff.
Ly: A staff!?
Xena: Yep. A staff.
Ly: How would you know, anyway?
Xena thought.
Xena: I just do..
Xena sat down next to Lyceus.
Cy: So, Xena, where did you go on your trip, what did you see?
Xena: I went everywhere. Rome, Sparta, China...
Cy: What?!?!?! ROME???? SPARTA????? CHINA?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?
Xena: Yes, I've been on the cursed ship of Seacrops, defeated the Horde, helped my worst enemy regain his Godhood....a couple of times...., helped another rival become queen, beaten the titans, made a new friend, alot of new friends, died, had a child, b---
Cy: Had a child?! Xena, stop making up these crazy things!
Xena realized why her mother didn't believe her. In this world, she was a seventeen year old kid.
Ly: Xena, are you okay? I mean, you actually have beaten the titans?
Xena: Nah, I just wanted to see what you would say.
Cy: Well, you scared me!
Xena: Sorry, mom.
It was quiet as they all ate breakfast. Just then, Toris came running into the room.
Toris: Hey, Xena.
Xena: Hey, Toris.
Toris sat down and he finished his breakfast as he ran out the door.
Cy: And where do you think your going?
Tor: Oh, sorry mom. I'm goin' down to the academy.
Cy: Tell me next time....
Tor: Can I go?
Cy: Sure, sure.
Ly: Bye Tory.
Toris: The name's Toris, brother.
Ly: I know.
Lyceus finished off his breakfast. Toris was on his way out.
Xena: Bye, Tory.
Toris narrowed his eyes at Xena as she waved.
Xena: Oh! Mom, look, I gotta go somewhere. I'll be back in the afternoon.
Cy: Xena, you just got home!
Xena: I promise, okay?
Cy: Okay.
Xena: I'll see you, soon.
Xena kissed her mother on the cheek and touseled Lyceus's hair.
Ly: When you come back, can we get some bait? I'm all out.
Xena: Sure.
Xena ran outside and jumped---no...flipped--on Argo with Lyceus and her mom watching her.
Ly: Where in the world did she learn that???
Cy: Something's wrong. She just went on a week-long camping trip with her friends!
Ly: Ahem, I told you she was hanging out with weird people.
Cy: Ah, she'll be fine. C'mon, you have to help me with house-work.
Lyceus nodded as they both walked inside. Meanwhile, Xena had been riding and was a quarter-mile away from Potedaia.
Xena: Why am I doing this again? Oh, yeah. To see Gabrielle. No....wait! She's only a kid...hmm, who cares. At least I'll see her.
Soon, Xena was in Potedaia. She dismounted Argo and ran up to Gabrielle's home and knocked on the door. Gab's mom opened the door.
Gab's Mom: Hello, miss?
Xena: Your so young....
GM: Excuse me?
Xena: Oh, sorry. Look, you have two kids, right?
GM: How'd you know???
Xena: Look, you don't know me, but I know you---
Xena shut-up immediately. She saw in the backround of Gabrielle's mom's home, stood a child. The child was a spitting image of the young Hope. Exept her hair was a little blonder. Xena knew this child was Gabrielle and Lila was the one with dark brown hair sucking on a rattle. The minute this kid saw Xena she pushed through her mom and yelled.
Gabrielle: XENA!!!! What did you do to me?!?!? Did you wish on that stupid stone??!! Zeus, I told you to be careful!!!
Xena: You know me?
GM: Yeah, you know her!?
Gab: She's a friend, mom. And her and I have to talk. So, if you don't mind, can we go outside and do that?
GM: Sure.
Gab grabbed Xena and ran outside. They both sat on a bench. Gabrielle looked angry.
Xena: I'm so sorry.
Gab: Yeah, right. Not only have you made me 10 years old again, but now I have to relive my life again! I don't wanna do that! Do you know who I saw this morning?!
Xena: No, Gabrielle.
Gab: Do you?!
Xena: No.
Gab: Toshipa!
Xena couldn't help but to laugh a little.
Gab: I can't believe you. What did you wish to put us back here?
Xena: It was kind of a selfish wish. But, I didn't know I was wishing it at the time.
Gab: Well, what was it missy?
Xena: Don't talk to me like that. Your only a kid. 10 years old to be exact.
Gab: And whose fault is this? Now, what was your wish.
Xena: I wished Cortese had never attacked Amphipolis. And nothing can go wrong! I mean, I'll never attack Cirra, so that'll change. We'll never go traveling, so you won't have Hope, see? Everything good.
Gab: But what about all the good things that we did? What about all those people? All those things?
Xena: I guess your right.
Gab: Of course I'm right. And, sure, your life'll change completely...but now I'm gonna have to be extra careful around Toshipa. My life isn't gonna be so carefree Xena. Didn't you know how this would affect me? Zeus, look at me! I'm 10 years old!
Xena: Speaking of that, how come you remebered everything and everyone else didn't?
Before Gabrielle could answer, a red light shined in her eyes. Out of that light, formed Callisto.
Call: Ahem, I did.
Gab: Oh, no.
Xena: You did?!?
Call (ignoring Xena): Gabrielle? Is that you!?
Gab: You say a thing and watch me kill for the first time.
Call: But you lost your Blood Innocense already.
Gab: Not in this body, I haven't.
Call: Oooooh yeah.
Xena: So what do you want.
Call: Just wanted to tell you something, Xena...
Xena: Make it quick. I don't have time for you, now.
Call: I wasn't born yet and...Cirra hasn't been attacked.
Xena: Okay....and?
Call: Don't do it.
Xena: Did you really think I would?
Call: Well, I mean, after everything I've done.
Xena: I don't care. This time, I'm going to do things right.
Callisto showed a faint smile and disappeared.
Gab: Next stop? Cirra. Get those bad girl instincts up and running, Xena! We've got some major town-destroying to do.
Xena: Gabrielle,
Gab: It was just a joke! Now...how do we get back to the present?
Xena: The Wishing Stone! Miss Expert, when did Zeus curse it? It could either be on Mount Olympus or in that castle dungeon.
Gab: I think it might still be in the castle dungeon.
Xena: Which means you can go home now. I'll go get it. The next time you see me we'll be back where we started.
Gab: What? I'm going with you!
Xena: Your only 10. Your mom would kill me.
Gab: My mom wouldn't remember!
Xena: I have to go back to Amphipolis anyway. I'll come back and get you, okay?
Gab: Okay.
Gabrielle skipped back home (trying to act her age), and Xena rode back to Amphipolis. When she got there, Lyceus was ringing out clothes. Xena smiled at things the right way. She rode up to Lyceus.
Xena: Lose a bet?
Ly: Nah, just helping around. I'm hooked.
Xena: What, you mean it's now a habit?
Ly: Yeah, well, I mean, this past week, man, mom used me as you to help do housework. Now I'm used to it.
Xena shook her head. Argo took two steps forward and a step backward.
Ly: That horse is majrly attached to you. Where in the world did you find it?
Xena: I'll tell ya later, but now I hve to find mom. Where is she?
Ly: Inside somewhere.
Xena: Alright.
Xena dismaounted Argo.
Xena: Watch 'er for me.
Ly: Cool!
Xena ran inside to her house. There was Cyrene, hands on her hips.
Xena: What?
Cy: And where have you been?
Xena: I went to Potedaia. And mom, I know I just got back, but I have to go to Peidmon. There's a castle there. There's a special stone in that castle. I have to get it.
Cyrene sighed and got back to work.
Cy: No. Absolutely not.
Xena: I wasn't asking, mom. I was telling you where I was going.
Cyrene looked at Xena.
Cy: What in Tartarus is wrong with you? I mean, gone for a week, and you already have a horse! Plus you know about special stones in castles, and you can flip!
Xena: I have a knack for catching on to things, mother. I'll be back. Okay?
Cy: Not okay! Your staying here.
Xena: Trust me. I'm getting the stone so everything can go back to normal.
Cy: Everything is normal! Xena......your staying here.
Xena: I can't, mother. I want to, but I can't. It will affect too many people if I do.
Cy: You know why you have to stay. You know.
Xena: No, I don't.
Cy: Xena, you are the only experianced fighter we have. Cortese could attack any minute and your going to leave??
Xena whispered to herself.
Xena: Today?? No, but the wish.....Mom, he's not going to attack today. Trust me. I have to go.
Xena walked out of the hut. Cyrene leaned against the door.
Xena: What now.
Cy: How can you be so sure of yourself?
Xena: TRUST ME. I wouldn't lie to you.
Xena began to walk over to Argo.
Cy: Xena!
Xena: What?!?!
Cy: Be careful.
Xena smiled. She mounted Argo and trotted off.
Ly: What just happened?
Cy: Xena's being stubborn........as usual.
Xena was in Potedaia by the time the sun was setting. Everyone was in there huts for the night. Xena walked up to Gabrielle's door and knocked. Nothing.
Xena: They couldn't be sleeping already. Definately not Gabrielle.
Xena knocked again and no one answered. So....she walked in.
Xena: Gabrielle?
Xena heard muffled cries from the next room. She walked in and saw the whole family tied up. Lila was in her mother's arms, and Xena began to untie them all when she noticed the ropes had no ends.
Xena: How in the world did they do this?
Xena drew her sword and it still wouldn't cut! Xena turned areound to see Callisto standing there.
Call: You do, you die.
Xena: Do what?!
Call: Wish back our old lives.
Xena: Why not?!
Call: And make my mother lose her child in this time, too?
Xena: Callisto, she won't remeber anything.
Call: But I will.
Xena: Then what do you want me to do!? Let all those innocent people get slaughtered???
Call: Oh, I see. You'd rather all those people be saved but you could care less about that little newborn kid down in Cirra, right?
Xena: She was born?
Call: Just now.
Gab (completely muffled): Aww, how sweet. NOW GET ME OUTTA HERE!!!!!!!!
Xena looked at Gabrielle and Callisto a couple of times.
Xena: Untie her.
Call: Not unless you leave things the way they are.
Xena: I'm not going to let those innocents die. There is so much we did, helped Seacrops, turned Draco into a good person, d----
Call: I don't care. If you do this, I will make your life a living hell.
Xena: You already have.
Call: And the next time you see Gabby, will be in the Elysian Feilds.
Xena: Callisto, how about we work togeether on this one.
Call: Whatta you mean,
Xena: You take me to the castle...I'll wish everything was back to normal, and you can wish I had never attacken Cirra. Alright?
Call: But...but then I'd go back to being a kid...and you'd go back to your days as an evil warlord.
Gab: Melp!!!
Xena: Untie her and I'll talk about this with you.
Call: Fine.
Callisto zapped the family free.
G'sMom: What in Tartarus is going on?!!?!?!?!??!
Xena: Don't worry about it.
Callisto walked outside and Xena followed.
Call: Please, Xena. Don't change the world back to the way it was.
Xena: I have to.
Call: Then once.....no, that won't work.
Xena: Look, Callisto, if I could go back in time and not attack Cirra, you know I would.
It was like a light had suddenly turned on inside both their heads as Gabrielle ran out.
Gab: ARE YOU INSANE??????????
The young child started to pund on Callisto's arm.
Gab: How dare you!
Call: Shut-up, kid. We've got work to do.
Xena: Then let's go.
Xena mounted Argo.
Xena: I have to make a quick stop.
Call: We don't have time for quick stops.
Xena: Take her to the castle. Wait there for me.
Call: Fine.
Callisto grabbed Gabrielle's swinging arms and disappeared to the castle. Xena rode Argo back to Amphipolis. When she got there, it was dark. Like....navy blue. Lyceus was inside with Toris and Cyrene. Xena dismaounted Argo, and ran inside. She ran up to Lyceus and hugged him very tightly.
Ly: Hey, hey, hey, your ruining my reputation as a warrior!
Xena: Sidekick.
Ly: Whatever!
Cy: Xena, Zeus bless you!
Xena: Why?
Cy: You were right. Cortese......he never showed.
Toris: Yeah, Xena. How'd you know?
Xena: Just be glad. If he did show, you would've lost something very important to you all.
Cy: What...?
Xena: Guys, I have to tell you something.
Ly: What is it?
Xena: I'm not the Xena you think I am.
Tor: Impossible.
Xena: No. Have any of you heard of the Wishing Stone?
Tor: Oh, yeah!
Xena: I wished on it.
Tor: But nothing's changed.
Xena: Yes it has. You all wouldn't notice though. I am a Xena from your future. That's why I know all these things that one could not possibly learn on a week-long camping trip.
Cy: What are you saying?
Xena explained the situation. Before she knew it, it was night. The sky went from navy blue to pitch black.
Xena: Oh, Zeus. I have to go and set things back to normal.
Ly: Wait, in a normal world, I'm supposed to die????
Xena: I love you, all of you. Goodbye Lyceus.
Xena hugged Lyceus tightly again.
Xena: Goodbye.
Xena ran out of the hut leaving Toris in a raging anger, Cyrene teary-eyed, and Lyceus scared that if Xena changed everything back, he'd die that minute (But he wouldn't, of course). The family was so upset hearing about how things went in the true world. Xena had ran on Argo when the horse got so tired that he wouldn't move and he fell asleep with Xena on his back.
Xena: Argo!
Xena whistled and he wouldn't move. Callisto appeared.
Call: Thought you might need some help. Zeus, you are sooo late! They have Gabrielle.
Xena: What?!
Call: I don't know, the guy said his name was Thesis.
Xena: By the Gods, I forgot about him.
Call: Listen, I don't know why I'm helping you......but I'll stop unless you get to Cirra.
Xena: Take me to the castle.
Callisto grabbed Xena and she would've fell if it weren't for her disappearing. Once they were in the castle Callisto told Xena where Thesis had taken Gabrielle and Xena ran to the dungeon where they found the Stone, Gabrielle, and Thesis.
Thesis: Xena. I don't know who you are but I know you want my Stone.
Just then, a man and woman came in crying for their lives and carrying a female baby.
Woman: Thesis, you....leave my castle. Now!
Xena: Who are you?
Man: I'm Chantal. This is Arlysse. And that is our daughter, Kahli.
Gabrielle widened her eyes.
Xena: We're going to get rid of him.
Gab: Touch him, Xena!
Xena: But I don't want his powers.
Chantal: May I?
Xena: Do you want to have to become water twelve hours a day and stay in a tank?
Chan: Nevermind.
Xena: I have an idea.
Thesis: WAIT!!!! Aren't any of you afraid?

Thesis: Ahh!!!!!!!
Xena grabbed a hanging piece of wood and threw it at Thesis. It hit him in the neck and instead of blood pouring out, water did. He melted down, and the peice of wood was soaked. Arlysse pulled off a peice of material from her dress, and picked it up.
Arl: What do we do with this?
Xena: Give it to me.
Arlysse gave Xena the material with the wood in it and Xena threw it into the cement floor.
Kahli: Stwon woman!
Gab: Tell me about it.
Callisto pointed her finger at the family ready to kill them.
Xena: Callisto, don't! I'll get to Cirra. Don't worry.
Callisto put her finger down and stared hard at that Stone. Xena pulled it out and picked it up.
Xena: Callisto, Come with me. Touch the stone.
Gab: I'm coming too!
Xena: Gabrielle....goodbye. I'll see you back at our camp, okay?
Gab: Oh, fine!
Xena: Don't whine. Your acting like a 10-year-old.
Gabrielle mumbled something under her breath.
Xena: Oh, sorry.
Call: I wish Xena had never attacked Cirra!
Callisto closed her eyes as did Xena. They felt the vibration and when they opened their eyes, they were Xena's quarters. Callisto was a child, and Xena was the evil warlord she used to be.
Call: Xena, what happened to me?!
Xena: Your a child again, just like you were when I attacked this village. Stay here. I'm going to go call off this attack. Xena ran outside just to see everyone running for their lives.
Xena: It's already started.
Call: NO!!!!!
Callisto ran to her old home and saw her mother and father shaking.
Call: Momma, Dad!
C'sDad: Callisto, get in here!
Call: No, dad. The village will be fine. Xena's calling off the attack.
C'sMom: How would you know?
Call: Because I was just in her quarters. She saw me and she's calling off the attack.
Callisto looked outside and saw Xena talking to some of her old army.
Call: Everything will be fine.
Outside...
Xena: Stop. Stop the attack.
Man: But you told us---
Xena: I don't care, stop the attack!!!
Man: Yes, ma'am.
The man turned around.
Man: STOP!!!!!!!
Xena ran up to all the men and ordered them to stop with Callisto watching in awe. Soon, the attack stopped. Callisto's mind filled with joy as she hugged her parents, and ran outside to Xena.
Xena: Are you happy now?
Call: Am I ever!
Xena: Then can we go home?
Call: Certainly.
Xena: The Stone! We have to go all the way back to the stupid castle, don't we?
Call: Nope. I held on so tight that when we got here, the Stone was still in my hands.
Xena and Callisto held on to the Stone and wished home. The vibration, and they opened their eyes. They were in a forest and it was night. Callisto and Xena reconized the forest. They were half way from where they were when they were transported into the other time zone. Callisto was an adult again.
Call: What exactly did you wish?
Xena: That everything was back to normal.
Call: That's exactly what I wished for.
Xena and Callisto shook hands and Callisto realized something as she did. So she took Xena's arm and twisted it (At least she tried to make peace).
Xena: Aaaaah!!! Watch it, girl!
Call: We are, like, so stupid!
Xena: Why? Now my brother's alove and is your family.
Call: NO, THEY'RE NOT!!!! WE WISHED THINGS BACK TO NORMAL!!!!!!! NORMAL IS DEAD BROTHER........DEAD FAMILY!!!!!!!!!!! IF WE HAD WISHED "HOME" THEN THEY'D BE ALIVE!!!!!
Xena: Your right.
Call: You know what this means.
Xena: No. I'm not going to get tangled in this again.
Call: Not that...
Callisto smiled......and (being the betrayful brat she is) she kicked Xena in the stomach.
Call: You, are so, stupid!!!!!!!
Xena kicked Callisto back.
Xena: Lay off me. You did it, too.
Callisto gave Xena a look of disgust and disappeared. Once Xena got back to the camp, she saw Gabrielle leap for joy.
Gab: I'm an adult! Your back! Whoo-Hoo!!!!!!!!!
Xena: Good night, Gabrielle.
Gab: Wait a sec, you killed Thesis, which means.....he's dead now?
Xena: Uh-huh. (Yawn)
Gab: So tomorrow we go back to the castle and give back the Stone?
Xena opened one eye, and then the other.
Xena: Give me the Wishing Stone.
Gabrielle placed the burlap sack in Xena's arms. Xena took out the Stone and tossed it in the fire. The two women watched it melt.
Xena: Night, Gabrielle.
Gab: Good night, Xena.
