           As I woke up in the middle of the night, I realized that

something was not right. I could hear the horses running. Not a single

horse but an entire horde! I got up and went outside to get a glimpse of

what was happenning. My heart completely stopped beating for a few seconds

when I saw a small army raidind towards my village. I instantly started

screaming for help. What help could there be? We were only a small village

with a few inhabitants, we didn't have anything to help or protect us. My

heart was filled by terror as I saw them enter the village with torches.

           The next minutes went disorientingly quick. The screams, the

blood, the fire. My village was left pillaged and burning. My family...

dead. My mother, my father and my sister were all dead in the fire that

burned my house. I tried to save them but to no avail. But I survived. I

lived and I shall extract my revenge on the one person who led this army. I

shall destroy the person whose name I heard some general yell during the

raid. I shall kill Xena!
