Why Joxer is Mighty
By Rebecca Perkins
I’ve never seen a man before
With quite as much to offer,
As Joxer (he’s the Mighty one!)
When he his sword does proffer.
He may not parry many blows
Or get in many hits,
Well heck, he doesn’t even wear
An armor suit that fits.
For nothing could he win a fight
Although he tries to bluff.
He can’t convince even a child
That he is really tough.
But does it matter? Not to me!
‘Cause how can you deny,
that even though he has no skill,
he gives a valiant try.
His courage has no bounds at all,
He’d die for you or me.
For mightiness comes from within,
Not from what others see.
So look at him and truly see
The real meaning of might.
He’ll face down danger even though
His heart is filled with fright.
